What's New in OPEN One Version 6.7

Important Change: License Requirement

Starting with version 6.7, OPEN One requires an active Product License to function (similar to OPEN GO). You'll see warnings in the system if your license is about to expire or if your cash register can't connect to the license system.

Improvements to Your POS System

More Flexible Partial Payments

We've made it much easier to handle orders when partial payments are involved. You can now:

  • Split tables even after payment has started
  • Make changes to orders more freely during the payment process

While some restrictions still apply, the overall experience is now much smoother.

Withdrawal Safety Warning

To help prevent accidental cash withdrawals and reporting errors, you'll now see a warning popup when entering a transaction amount that would create a withdrawal. This gives you a chance to cancel if it was a mistake.

Send Kitchen Messages to Any Printer

Previously, you could only send arbitrary messages and wrong ticket notifications to kitchen printers. Now you can also send these to receipt printers connected to your cash register. This is helpful if your kitchen printer breaks down—you can send missing tickets to the nearest receipt printer instead.

Backoffice Improvements

Default View Settings for All Users

Administrators can now create a Default UI Profile that applies to everyone in your database. This means you can hide unnecessary fields for all employees, making the system cleaner and less confusing for your team.

Better Filtering Options

Receipts: You can now filter receipts by table number. Equipment Lists: Cash Registers, Devices, and Card Terminals now have filters to show only active items, making it easier to find what you need.

Card Terminal Ordering

You can now set the order that card terminals appear in your Cash Register layout, making it easier to find the terminal you're looking for.

Order Logs for Direct Sales

Order logs are now available for direct sales orders, not just table orders. This gives you better tracking across all types of sales.

Integration Improvements

  • Fixed issues with reference and free text not being sent to POGO
  • Corrected invoice accounting in Tripletex
  • Added option to disable tips in Room transfer (Infor)

Payment & Receipt Issues

  • Fixed missing payment methods on "Switch Payment" receipts
  • Fixed signature receipts not printing for Swedbank part credit
  • Fixed electronic receipts freezing the register for up to 30 seconds
  • Added "Customer Copy" and "Merchant Copy" text on refund receipts
  • Fixed digital receipt prompt not showing for Swish payments

Price & Discount Management

  • Fixed discount campaigns breaking with negative articles
  • Changed default selection in "Mass Edit Prices" to prevent accidentally zeroing prices
  • Fixed weekday selection defaulting to "Tuesday" in discount rules
  • Improved discount campaign company search and access controls

Printing

  • Fixed label printing to print all pages instead of just the current page
  • Updated label printing view to show only active price list items
  • Fixed Hall Miba import adding label info incorrectly

Order & Sales Management

  • Enforced "Allow Split Payment" flag for external invoices
  • Fixed timezone issues when saving article combination prices
  • Auto-focus improvements in various popups for faster data entry
  • Added barcode support in "Quick Price Article by EAN" popup

Reporting

  • Standardized Z-Report calculations to use only selected cash registers
  • Stock value reports now skip inactive articles

System Behavior

  • Restricted manual negative price entry to flagged articles only
  • Improved error messaging to reduce repetitive popups
