At the cash register
Easier to move articles and orders
The two old buttons "Move articles" and "Move order" have been merged into one smart Move button:
- Select the items you want to move, and only those will move.
- Don't select anything, and the whole order moves. Less clicking, fewer mistakes.
Print a guest bill straight from direct sales
Until now, the guest bill button was only available in table mode. You can now turn it on for direct sales too.
Where: Settings → Cash register → "Show print Guest bill menu item in Direct Sales"
New card terminal supported: Worldline RX5000
OPEN One now also works with the Worldline RX5000 pinpad for card payments.
Better Take-away control
Block specific items from take-away orders
Some items shouldn't leave the restaurant — think of a dessert that doesn't travel well, or a dish that's only meant for dine-in. You can now mark individual articles or whole product groups as "not allowed for take-away."
What happens in practice:
- OPEN One and OPEN GO: the article is still visible, but if someone tries to switch the order from EatIn to TakeAway, they'll get a warning that this item isn't allowed.
- Express Checkout: the article only shows up when the customer chooses Eat In. Switch to Takeaway and it disappears from the menu.
Where to set it: a new checkbox called "Take-away not allowed" on the Article and Product Group settings.
Express Checkout (self-service)
Loyalty by internal card
Customers can now identify themselves as loyalty members using an internal card — not just their customer ID. As a bonus: if they've registered an internal card, they can also pay with it directly without scanning it again.
Pre-set table or order numbers
Instead of letting customers type any number, you can now offer them a list of valid table or flag numbers to pick from.
Where: Express Checkout → "Predefined kitchen numbers" (enter the numbers separated by commas).

You can also add a short instruction telling customers what to do — set this under "Comment to user to enter kitchen number."

Note
This only appears if your kitchen ticket number type is set to "Manually".
Receipts and guest bills
Hide zero-price items from the bill
By default, items priced at 0 still show up on guest bills, receipts, invoices, and transaction reports. You can now choose to hide them.
This is handy if you use 0-price items as ordering options — for example, "number of glasses" with a wine bottle, or "extra glass of wine" — and you don't want those cluttering the receipt. Items that have been discounted down to 0 will still appear (so customers can see the discount).

Sales reports — cleaner and more accurate
Three reports that showed overlapping information have been merged. "Article turn-over report" and "Recipe article sales report" are now part of the Sales report — just turn on "Show recipe article" to include recipes.
The Total Profit column now excludes VAT, giving you a more accurate profitability number.
"Department settlement" renamed to "Cost Centre Settlement"
Same report, new name — now it matches the rest of the system.
Integration field now required for new customers (when site restriction is on)
If you've enabled "Site Specific Customer View Restriction," the Integration field is mandatory when creating a new customer. This prevents customers from accidentally being hidden from restricted views.
