Set up payment methods
Let's go through how you easily set up and manage your payment methods in BackOffice.
Overview
In BackOffice, on the Payment methods page you can see an overview of your payment methods. Here, you can easily add new payment methods, deactivate a payment method to hide it from your POS or manage settings such as receipt options or when to open the cash drawer.

Add a new payment method
- Go to Settings and select Payment methods.
- Click New payment method.

- In the dialog that opens, click on the payment method that you want to enable.

- A new dialog will appear, in which you can manage the payment method settings.

Manage settings
You can easily manage the settings for a payment method.
Do this:
- Click on the payment method.
- This will open the settings dialog where you can edit your settings.
- Save your changes.
Delete or deactivate a payment method
Deactivate - hide from POS
You can easily hide a payment from your POS by unchecking the box in the Active column. This will hide the paymemnt method from all cash registers in the selected cost center(s).

Delete payment method
- Click the three dot menu (kebab menu) on a specific payment method.
- In the menu that opens, click Delete.

- Confirm your action in the dialog that opens.
Cannot delete cash or card
Note that cash and card cannot be deleted, but deactivated.
Available payment methods
| Payment method | Explanation |

| Cash | Always available and simple to set up |
| Card | Needs to be completed from POS by choosing payment terminal |
| Open payment method | Optional usage, i.e. for coupons with various amounts |
| Open payment method - fixed amount | Optional usage, i.e. for coupons with fixed amounts |

| Invoice | Various options available, learn more here |
| Swish | Choose between Swish privat, Swish Företag and Swish Handel. Only available in Sweden, see instructions when activating |
| Vipps | Only available in Norway, see instruction when activating |
Payment method settings

If you always want to print a receipt - choose Physical receipt only.
Changing order of payment buttons in POS
To change in what order your payment methods are shown in your cash register, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your cash register.
- Hold down and drag a payment method to desired position.

- Drop the button and it will save automatically.
