Step-by-Step Guide to create qr-codes in BackOffice
This is a a guide how to to create your qr codes in BackOffice. You find it in the menu to the left in BackOffice and the QR code stepper walks you through 5 steps:
Type → Site → Tables → Design → Overview
Step 1 – Type
Choose what you want to generate for your restaurant:
- QR Codes – Generates printable QR codes with a custom design. Each table gets its own unique code.
- QR Links – Generates only the URLs (no design). Use these if you want to create custom QR codes in an external tool.
Select the option that fits your needs and click Next.

Step 2 – Site
Select what happens when a guest scans the QR code:
- Online order – Order & Pay – The guest is redirected to the online order website where they can place their order and pay. You can optionally select a specific menu to include in the QR code.
- Checkout – Pay only – Use this if the guest has already ordered and dined, and just wants to pay.
Click Next to continue.

Step 3 – Tables
Select which tables you want to generate QR codes for.
Check or uncheck individual tables to include or exclude them. You can edit a table name directly in the input field next to it. Use the + button at the bottom to add additional tables.
Click Next when you're happy with your selection.

Step 4 – Design
(Only shown when "QR Codes" was selected in Step 1) Customize the visual appearance of your QR codes:
- Frame – Choose between three frame styles (one without frame and text, one with frame and text below qr code and one with frame and text above qr-code).
- Text – Add a custom text label that will appear on the QR code (e.g. a call-to-action like "Scan to order").
- Color – Pick a color for the QR code design.
Click Next when done.

Step 5 – Overview
A preview of all your generated QR codes is shown here, one per table. Review them to make sure everything looks correct with table name and text. You can adjust the size of your qr-codes by the slider. When you're ready, click Print to send the QR codes to your printer.

You can always go back to a previous step by clicking Previous or by clicking a step in the progress bar at the top.
